Anyone with a Facebook account has crossed willy-nilly Candy Crush Saga, one of the most popular games on mobile devices and on Mark Zuckerberg social network of.  Behind its success there’s an outstanding Italian Riccardo Zacconi, CEO of King.com, London-based Company operating in the field of online games.

His success comes from commitment and passion: born in Rome 46 years ago, Zacconi moved first to Germany in the ‘90ties, before settling in London in 2001, where he founded his company to develop online games for various platforms, after being a consultant for several online projects (Lycos, uDate.com).

Candy Crush Saga is its number one product, gaining much satisfaction, but after various difficulties too: the good idea isn’t always immediately available; however at the end it arrived and is absolutely winning.

So much so that the Guardian put  Riccardo at the 56th position in the ranking of the most powerful people in the media industry, behind superstars like Larry Page (Google), Rupert Murdoch (News Corp. / Sky) and Jeff Bezos (Amazon), but before Marissa Mayer (Yahoo!).

His project is in fact managed to attract more than 44 million monthly users and produce $ 600,000 per day in profits for the company.
